L-Carnitine

L-Carnitine a not an amino acid although many people believe it is because of the common L- property of amino acids in its name. L-Carnitine is used for Fat Loss because L-Carnitine breaks down small fat particles circulating in you blood(long chain fatty acids, where the L- in L-Carnitine comes from). This allows the fat to be transported to the mitochondrial membrane.

The mitochondrial membrane burns fat as energy; therefor if we burn fat, we will lose weight. This metabolic action aids the body in burning unwanted fats and removing unwanted fats from your body.

This form of fat burning is a major part of muscular energy. Deficiencies in carnitine are expressed as low energy levels and muscular weakness. If your body does not have enought L-Carnitine the unwanted excess fat is deposited in your heart and can increase the probability of heart disease. The amino acids lysine and methionine are also needed for L-Carnitine synthesis. L-Carnitine can be found in most meats.

The Acetyl-L-Carnitine form is used more for neurological conditions than L-Carnitine.

The L-Carnitine form is used more for heart health, weight loss and physical activity.

L-Carnitine is one of the 21 active ingredients in Thermadrol
